Welcome to my blog: It's Me, Tanya B!

I will address you as if you are some chic stranger who came across my blog after hearing about how life changing it was over brunch with your girlfriends, but I know I am really addressing my mother and probably the five friends of mine who will read this. But that's okay! I try to live my life as if I'm always being talked about during brunch in places I can't afford by people who have much more exciting lives than I do.

So I bet you're asking yourself, why did you start this blog? Do you really think people will care about your advice or want to see how you live your life? Do you think people will take time out of their busy day to read about how once again, you brought up your defecation habits on a first date or how you were extra satisfied with your makeup because you went for a matte eyeliner today rather than a satin? No. I may be a lot of things, but delusional is not one of them. I like to consider myself more hopeful. So yes, I will most likely have 10 (at best) devoted readers, but in my head I will soon be recommended on Jaclyn Hill's Snapchat (a girl can dream). What you, as the reader, can look forward to is seeing me trying to come up with new poses to show off my outfit while deceitfully hiding the ice cream I had the night before. Or asking yourself, "How does this kind of stuff always happen to her? Don't you think she'd learn by now?" And maybe if I'm successful you will think to yourself, "Wow. This is the kind of woman I want to be friends with*" I can't promise that I will be super dedicated to this blog. I can't promise that it's content will be even remotely exciting. I can't promise that I won't delete the whole thing within a month. Pretty much no promises here, but I thought I'd give it a go. Also my friends are tired of me asking them to take pictures of me for no other reason than to look at myself later than night and decide not to post them because I could've picked a better necklace or blush shade with that outfit.
